Description of a Vampire! "1. A bloodsucking ghost or reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave and wander about by night sucking the blood of persons asleep. 2. One who lives by preying on others; a bloodsucker..." -- Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary

Countess Vampira's Realm Enter in Daylight hours only! The night belongs to me, you have been warned!
Call of the Kindred Come to me, little mortal I can bring you to heaven's portal There'll be no sorrow, there'll be no pain Feelings of joy will fill your brain Come to me, sweet human thing Give me your heart and I'll make it sing Forget your fears, leave them behind Forget the troubles of your kind Come to me... yes, that's right Now hold still, it's no good to fight I'll take your blood, and leave you dying Didn't you realise I could be lying? Solinquair, 1996

Attributes And Problems Almost all true Vampires or Vampiroids have the same or quite similar problems, including sensitivity, in varying degrees, to light and sun; Even indoor lighting and the lights in night clubs. Some blister very badly, some deeply burn, some pass out, some suffer heat stroke. Most have Day-Glare Blindness, similar to snow blindness or night blindness. Most can eat but have digestive problems. Most CAN go out into the day, but really would rather not. All feel ill and weak during the day and better and stronger as darkness descends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Porphyria is an illness which manifests itself in the paling of the skin, a red rash about the mouth and nose, and rendering its' victims very hard to wake by day. This was also a cause of the legends. We all know about relatives nailing dead bodies into coffins to keep them from rising and spreading the illness which killed them in the first place. This is how STAKING began. Mostly those who died without a known reason, or died of consumption, now called TB, were staked in such a manner. Children who died before baptism were staked as well, as it was believed that they were doomed and going straight to hell where the devil made them into little demons. I am sure some parents feel exactly this way about their little darlings today as well, without them dying . (According to modern beliefs of most Christian churches, children who die before baptism are considered innocents and favored by God, because they are innocent of mans' sins. This view has changed since early times when it was believed that any unbaptized soul who died was directly scooped up by the devil. But such is now no longer considered a reality) In truth, real Vampires try to live as normal a lifestyle as they can. And most real Vampires keep away from humans and human affairs mostly, as much as they are able. Some vampire inspired facts in history 1710 Vampire hysteria sweeps through East Prussia. 1725 Vampire hysteria returns to East Prussia. 1725-30 Vampire hysteria lingers in Hungary. 1725-32 The wave of vampire hysteria in Austrian Serbia produces the famous cases of Peter Plogojowitz and Arnold Paul (Paole). 1734 The word "vampyre" enters the English language in translations of German accounts of European waves of vampire hysteria. The first modern vampire poem, "Der Vampir," is published by Heinrich August Ossenfelder. 1750 Another wave of vampire hysteria occurs in East Prussia. 1756 Vampire hysteria peaks in Wallachia. 1772 Vampire hysteria occurs in Russia. 1797 Goethe's "Bride of Corinth" (a poem concerning a vampire) is published. 1798-1800 Samuel Taylor Coleridge writes "Christabel," now conceded to be the first vampire poem in English.

| VISITOR by John Grey Why do you give the shadows voice, Why do you give the shadows shape, And why surrender to that thing Inside the satin, wing-like cape As black as his intentions here, Who swoops inside your perfumed room By promising the star-brushed night but offers only lurid gloom? Why do you let him slip inside The sheets, his unrelenting eyes Pressed into yours, reptilian, A vampire in a man's disguise. Why does he bite your flannel neck While reaping fingers through your hair? I fear that though you fear the beast, Inside your heart, you want him there.
Don't read if you don't like gross jokes! Three vampires walked into a bar one night. They sit down at the bar and the bartender asks the first vampire what he would like to drink. The vampire replies, "I would like a Bloody Mary, please." So the bartender gets him his drink. He then takes the second vampire's order. The vampire replies, "I would like a nice warm cup of blood." So the bartender sends an employee out back to shoot a chicken and drain his blood. The bartender then asks the third vampire for his order and he replies, "I would like a tall, hot glass of water." The bartender gives him a funny look because he is puzzled by this order. He says, "Why do you want water? You're a vampire, aren't you supposed to order something that has to do with blood?" The vampire holds up a dirty tampon and replies, "I like tea."

| Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon. - Susan Ertz.

"I am a vampire. I worship my ego and I worship my life. I acknowledge the powers of darkness. I realize there is no heaven as there is no hell. Therefore I will make the most of my life here and now. I am a vampire. Bow down before me." -The Vampire Bible
Please visit my guestbook! In Hat Yai, Southern Thailand it is: Supreme Whilst, mere mortals come and go Vampires remain upon the earth, We are the superior race, We drink your blood and steal your soul, For all eternity, we shall reign supreme. Vampira

On swift tail flaming From storm and south He comes, pale vampire, Mouth to my mouth. -James Joyce, "Ulysses"

But first, on earth as Vampire sent, Thy corpse shall from the tomb be rent: Then ghastly haunt thy native place, And suck the blood of all thy race; There from thy daughter, sister, wife, At midnight drain the stream of life; Yet loathe the banquet which perforce Must feed thy livid living corpse. Shall know the demon for their sire, At cursing thee, thou cursing them, Thy flowers are withered on the stem. Lord Byron Vlad the Impaler (1431-1476) is considered to be the original historical Dracula that Bram Stoker used as a 'model' for his 1897 novel Dracula. Vlads father, also known as Vlad, joined the Order of the Dragon shortly after his sons birth in Schassburg, Transylvania. The name 'Dracula' means 'son of Dracul', or son of the dragon or evil. -G. Gordon Melton, The Vampire Book
Great horror graphics and more! Check it out. The power of the vampire is very great and many-sided, even in his lifetime can kill people and even eat them alive; can bring into being, or remove, various sicknesses and epidemics, storms, rain, hail, and such; he casts spells on cows and their milk, the crops and the husbandry generally; he knows all secrets and future, ect. Because this he can make himself invisible or transform himself into various objects, especially into animal forms. A verse from Galician folklore
Pit of Hell! Far beneath the dungeons, Foul odour rises up, Stench overpowering, Evil reaching out, Evil rising, foul and rancid, My pit of hell awaits its next corpse. Bodies lie rotting, Flesh once so soft, Now, ripped and torn, Limbs mangled and broken, Mortal remains, obsolete now, New victim, new blood, Must devour, my hunger growing, Slash, blood pours out, Hot and sweet on my tongue, Tear, vital organs removed, Fodder for my wolves, Draining their life away, Hunger satisfied, new blood pounding through my veins, Body, now lifeless and useless, Down into my pit of hell it goes, Death pile growing higher and higher, Let the scavengers in, What a feast awaits them! | VAMPIRE HAIKU by P.J ROBERTS ZERO HOUR APPROACHES Giant bat wings flap Overhead while you sleep, Zeroing in on you. BLOOD FEAST Fat droplets of blood Run across your throat, From where a fiend has feasted LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE A dungeon of death Housing sallow-faces corpses, Which rise again at dusk. THE CONNOISSEUR Tapping a pulsing vein, He selects a fine wine From a special cache. CORPSES WRITHE IN AGONY Corpses writhe around in agony; when stakes are driven through their hearts. LOST INNOCENCE Sleeping innocents About to die; Red-rimmed eyes Watching from the sill.

Vampira's Hell The trees are turning a golden colour, Leaves fall gently to the ground, The air is becoming crisp and damp, Woe, depression creeps up on me. Soon the trees will be bare, Jagged, twisted branches stare at me, Twas in the autumn my master was taken, They violated our resting place. Tore him from his coffin, Shackled him in heavy chains, Dragged him deep into the forest, Stripped him, beat him and tortured him. Finally as dawn was breaking, they drove a wooden stake through his heart. 200 years have come and gone, Lonely cold years, I am cold and empty inside, No master to hold me, caress me, kiss me gently, Suckle and feed from me, make love in a way no mortal ever could, Will I ever find another master. Depression so deep, this is Vampiras hell on earth! copywright 2001 Vampira
